The 27th Annual Salute to the Military Ball
Honoring Those Who Serve & Celebrating Naval Special Warfare

Coronado enjoys a special relationship with our neighbors at Naval Base Coronado and appreciates our United States military service members and their families. Since 1985, the Coronado Chamber of Commerce has hosted the Salute to the Military Ball to recognize those who serve and sacrifice on our behalf in the name of freedom. This year, the Chamber is proud to present Rear Admiral Sean A. Pybus, Commander, Naval Special Warfare Command as Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker as we pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the US Navy SEALs.

This black tie gala honors our local active duty service men and women at Naval Base Coronado. We salute the leadership, courage and self sacrifice demonstrated daily by our local service members. Your participation as a sponsor allows the local military to attend this celebration as guests free of charge. Please show your grateful appreciation as we celebrate the proud tradition of Naval Special Warfare.

Event Award Presentations

The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the sixteenth annual Harry T. Jenkins Memorial Award and the third annual VADM James & Sybil Stockdale Award to deserving military members. Join us as we honor their accomplishments.
